Cardiovascular diseases or CVD are the top killers in the world, both for men and women, and in any race. It can strike any age groups, especially those who are highly risked. Risk factors include obesity, lack of exercise, long-term stress, sedentary lifestyle, alcohol abuse, long-term cigarette smokers, family history of CVD, congenital problems and high cholesterol diet.

People with CVD must have thorough monitoring with their heart. It must be normalized in all aspect. Too much inactivity and too much activity will trigger any symptoms like angina pectoris (chest pains), chest congestions, palpitations and irregular heart beat. Stress, depression, strenuous exercise and heavy workloads could trigger a heart attack.

The primary management for CVD would be altering or modifying cardiovascular disease risks and precipitating factors. Examples are having regular and light exercise, avoid sedentary lifestyle, avoid fatty foods, have enough rest and sleep, avoiding alcohol and cigarette smoking, avoiding stress and promoting a general healthy lifestyle.

Other remedies include both the medical and surgical management. Medical management is focused on medicines, thorough physical examinations, regulation of blood pressure and other ways to relieve the symptoms. Surgical management includes coronary angioplasty and stents, EDTA chelation and bypass surgery. These are invasive procedures that could bring a whole lot of risks but if completed successfully, could be quite successful.

Treatment for CVD is long term. A healthy lifestyle together with the treatments will promote faster healing process as well as prevent reoccurrence of the disease. Being attentive to therapies and having regular check-up with your doctor is also necessary.

Believe of it this way: Stopping the disease is less expensive and less risky, even though treatments like coronary angiography would demand you a great deal of resources at the same time as numerous risks. Get rid of CVD, before it take control more than your life and ahead of it eliminate you. Avoid cardiovascular illness risks as early as you are able to.
