Does earthing work and how is common for those who are new to homeopathic medicine. It is an old and new method to treat common health problems such as insomnia, poor circulation, and stress by simply connecting a portion of skin to the surface of the earth by simply walking barefoot. This method has been growing in popularity in many communities and is even being recommended by those who practice homeopathic medicine.

Earthing is the process in which people connect with the earth through walking barefoot. This allows for currents to move freely from the earth to the person. Since we know that the human body is made up of water and minerals, this is also a good conductor for electricity.

Many institutes have been conducting research about this simple health solution and found that grounding oneself for as little as 30 minutes a day may help with the quality of sleep, management of stress, overall mental health, or healing from trauma or surgery. Conclusive evidence is still being conducted but in cases of general health, the benefits are there.

Although this concept is simple to understand and execute, some regions may experience severe winters or may be warm year round, making the idea of walking outside without shoes problematic. In such cases one can place their feet inside a metal container of water that is placed on the ground or on concrete for the same effect.

For some, if the interior of your home has a concrete slab that sits directly on the ground like in most basements, one can walk barefoot on it for the same affect. Although some do not have this opportunity, there are a wide variety of mats, sheets, and body bands that allow a person to become grounded.

With many general health benefits, it is easy to see why this method is becoming so popular. Although research is still being conducted to confirm all the health benefits, this can be tested for and individual with no cost by simply walking outside barefoot for a while. does earthing work
