If you have good open communication when booking the appointment you are likely to receive exactly the service you are looking for and will want to return to that therapist for further appointments. Select someone you are comfortable with. If you aren’t comfortable with a certain therapist, don’t give up. Talk with the therapist afterward and express why you may not have been completely satisfied. You may need to consider a different type of massage or you may need to see the massage therapist several times to really receive the full benefit of the massage.

Word of mouth for these types of services can go a long way in helping you to make a more educated and informed decision. Ask the person referring why they like the establishment or therapist they are recommending. Ask how frequently they have used this person for massage. The more questions you ask the more information you have to achieve having a wonderful massage experience that leaves you wanting more.
