1. Maintain Balance: Keep it noted that brain is a complex and vital organ of human body hence it requires additional attention. It must be nourished properly. Good number of nutrients, vitamins and minerals are mandatory to keep your brain healthy so that it functions effectively. It is therefore necessary that you maintain balanced diet and don?t concentrate on a particular category of food which creates other problems.

2. Don?t let protein remain away: Our changing food habits have started showing severe effects on our bodies and minds. This negligence is found abundantly when you avoid taking protein intake or lessen its quantity. Your body can?t perform its basic duties properly if your protein intake is not in appropriate quantity. Do you like vegetarian food? If the case is so, you need to be more cautious. At this situation you should have enough intakes of protein rich foods. You should take combination food which has balanced quantity of protein alongside other nourishing items.

3. Look for regular energy supply mechanism: Brain is the control room of our body as its most energy consuming section. It uses approximately 20% of consumed energy of a particular body. Our focus should confine in supply of new energy in brain. Choose better options and develop mechanisms through which regular and constant supply of energy is made possible. Such practice gives enduring results. Including Low-GI diets in your food is important for releasing energy for longer periods. They are good brain powering solution.

4. Take proper fatty intake in your food: Protection and membrane formation of our brains are possible through an appropriate intake of fats in our regular food items. Fats are pivotal in nourishing the brain. Omega 3, Omega 6 and ?pure? DHA are highly effective ?brain fatty acids which help it get nourished properly. Do you really want to improve your brain power? Apply best sources of fats in your diet so that they keep your brain charged.

5. Give priority to vitamins and minerals: As a key player of human activities, brain keeps itself engaged in many ways. It should be kept charged through all kinds of vitamins and minerals. Doing this help it performs duties effectively. Vitamin E, B Vitamins, Vitamin C and Magnesium are important vitamin categories.

6. Don?t take toxins and other harmful substances in your food: The fact remains true that the food items which are laced with pesticides must not be taken as they are dangerous for your body. Some of the chemicals are though less harmful but they too create lots of problems when they are taken uncontrollably. Most prominent types of those chemicals include specific categories of artificial colours and flavours besides a few trans-fatty acids produced from heating fat byproducts.

7. Supplement where necessary: It is quite difficult to achieve the right ?mix? in terms of getting all the right nutrients, vitamins and mineral required for optimum brain function from your diet. It may therefore sometimes be necessary to increase the levels of some of them through supplements. This is often necessary in the case of certain vitamins and also with trans-fatty acids.

8. Exercise for fitness: Exercising doesn?t come in the category of ?nutrition tip?. Its importance is paramount for healthy body and mind. When you do regular exercising, your blood circulation keeps it warmed up which is of great benefit for brain too that must be provided with sufficient energy. It has been proved that storing of fat in the middle portion of the body not only hampers body growth but keeps your brain at low. It is at this context that exercise is crucial in reducing fat levels in the body.
