Unfortunately for some home owners, mold allergy symptoms may have been diagnosed as other things like hay fever or responses to tension. One way to know for sure is to visit a doctor and get tested for allergic reactions. You can also consider mold hypersensitivity if the usual drugs you use don’t work on your symptoms. Some of these signs include sneezing, chronic cough, watery eyes, itchy eyes, nasal discharge, dry scaly skin and nasal congestion.

Do these symptoms seem familiar? They are similar to the symptoms of hay fever, so it is easy to think that drinking your usual medication will make the symptoms go away. However, if they don’t, it is better to seek advice from your doctor about anti-hypersensitivity medicine. Before you go house, make sure the space where you will be resting is fairly free from molds. If there are still spores in the air you breathe, you will continue to be sick.

Some severe symptoms of mold hypersensitivity are nausea, headaches, nosebleeds and coughing up blood. Some people show skin rashes and feel dizzy inside the house.

Whatever you do, you should never disregard the symptoms of mold toxicity. Inform your physician about your mold problem so that he can prescribe a good anti-allergy medication. don’t go back to your home to rest for a long time if you still have mold around. it is better to hire someone to clean up before you go back because the signs might get aggravated.

Put off any more damage to your health by making sure you eradicate mold. Watch out for black spots on your bathroom floor and walls. Check under the kitchen’s sink for signs of mold presence. Never store your clothing while they are wet, and always air out your house on a regular basis.

Check under the sink and look for black spots. If you discover some under your sink, on the walls or under your flooring, don’t touch the mold colonies unless you are wearing protective gear like a gas mask and gloves. Make sure your children don’t go near the infested spot until after you’ve cleared the mold. Your basement or attic are spaces where mold species have grown so make sure you do some serious cleaning at least twice a month.

Removing the mold colonies on your own is a tedious task, but if no one else can do it, you have no choice. Bear in mind, prevention is always better than cure. And, it’s better to be safe than sorry.

Be particularly meticulous about the ducts of your AC units. Especially on hot days, molds can develop in between the ducts.
