Healthy glowing skin not only makes you look gorgeous and young, it attracts people and repels diseases. Our skin is our largest organ and unless you maintain it, you will have several skin problems like warts, wrinkles, acne, itches, rashes, blotches, spots and in extreme cases, cancer. You should actively replenish your skin regularly to decelerate the aging process and keep your skin glowing and soft.
Aging is the greatest fear a person has, but few know that with proper diet and skin care you can attain that envious glowing skin and reduce the effects of aging. Apart from early aging other skin related problems are acne, warts, blotches, wrinkles, spots, rashes, itches and possibly skin cancer.
Your face is the most prominent part of your body, so you should be careful with what you choose to put on your face and neck. Your glowing skin will be the envy of others who have not figured out how easy it is to care for skin properly. People are always trying to discover the secret to beautiful skin. Your mind and food habits contribute heavily to your skin texture.
Eat plenty of nutritious foods, drink loads of water and do not worry too much. These steps are the greatest remedies for your skin. Eat calcium rich foods such as fat free milk or low fat milk. Include lean meat such as poultry and eat fish that contains Omega 3 fatty acids. Green leafy vegetables, salads, yoghurts and fruit juices are necessary.
The next step is to go for a massage and facials at a spa or beauty center at least a couple times a month. Some of the products that you can try at home are a soothing cleansing gel that does all the deep pore cleansing and a fairness night cream that keeps away the excess melanin. An anti wrinkle and firming cream contains anti-oxidants and Vitamin E, which makes it a must for the middle aged.
There are some good quality products that you can buy and try at home so you do not have to rush off to the spa everyday. There are products that are suited to your skin type. If you do not know your skin type, ask your beautician. You can buy a gel that reduces pigmentation and removes dark spots. There are creams that lighten and smooth the areas under your eyes and keep them firm.
For daily usage, you can use sunscreens that contain SP15 and moisturizing sunscreens containing SPF 30. A body gel, which contains melon, peach and aromatic, oils will energize your face and neck. Use a revitalizing tonic that is alcohol free once or twice a day depending on how oily your skin is. Since care for the skin should start from deep within, you should try out a deep pore cleanser every night before bedtime.
