Past life regression may seem a bit unbelievable. However, many people find that this forum is well worth exploring. It involves undergoing a session with a certified hypnotherapist. The therapist brings the client into a state of utter relaxation and helps them open their subconscious. The idea is that they can then experience memories from former lives. With this form of therapy, pain and trauma experience in previous lives put in the past in this life. That can be very freeing for the client.
Belief in past life regression is irrelevant. Even if the pain and trauma don’t come from another life, it helps open up what is bothering the client at the deepest levels. That is the key to working through problems in the here and now. Without that knowledge, getting past hidden issues can be frustrating. Many clients experience a great deal of relief when things come out of the subconscious for examination. They find reasons to move into the present without dwelling on past traumas. It provides a sense of control that might have been missing before the session. A certified hypnotherapist makes this possible. The only requirement is the ability to be hypnotized.
Past life regression is often looked on with disbelief. Many people do not see any possible way that people lived more than one life. However, many people who visit a certified hypnotherapist would beg to differ. They experience memories in an historical context. They see the world around them from the eyes of another person. They often experience things they have never done in their current life. They often find themselves in the body of someone from the opposite sex. They often find themselves in the body of someone of a different social stratum. All of this convinces them they are looking at a former life.
Past life regression is a tool many use to work through things in their life. Very often understanding the roots of a phobia, illness, accident, is very helpful. Typically the subject is advised not to re-experience traumatic events, but to observe them from above. The function of the whole experience is to heal. A certified hypnotherapist will help the client identify blockages that the client might have and give them suggestions to help them move forward. Belief in past lives is not required. It may or may not be. However, it is a way to identify that, which is causing problems in the present.
