By Albert H. Franklin

Brain building games have become increasingly popular over the last couple of years. They could be found and played for free on cell phones, online, and even downloaded for no cost. They’ve permeated the video game marketplace for each conceivable game station portable or otherwise and still a presence in newspapers, journals, magazines and activity books.

Actively playing video games can help too so long as a couple of variables are met. Turning off the suggestions can keep you from cheating your self and your mind.

Hints that are offered in video game versions of brain building games can have a greater impact than the game itself. A study was performed on a small grouping of ten year old school children. A few of these kids had been provided brain games to try out with a paper plus a pen, while other children were provided the video game editions. Shockingly enough, the results for brain attributes like memory were different by forty percent in between the two teams of children.

The children actively playing the video game versions in fact showed a 7% decline in memory attributes while the pen and paper using kids showed an increase of an amazing 33%. While in many cases this is sufficient for many moms and dads to go back to the ‘video games rot your brain’ guidelines, this research didn’t specify which game the children had been playing or what game they played.
