The Latest Thing In Smoking: E Cigarettes

By Alison Ellis

There is a new item out for smokers called e cigarettes and they are touted as being a healthy alternative to tobacco based smoking products. They are considered to have approximately 4,000 less toxins than nicotine; all without the tar and ash so there is no waste and they are refillable so they will save individual’s money.

Propelled by a microelectronic processor, these electronic cigarettes are the latest technological advancement in a healthy product for smokers. They taste, look and feel as if a person is actually smoking although they lack the ‘bad’ parts of tobacco and nicotine: the sticky tar and other body damaging ingredients.

A regular cigarette and the new electronic cigarettes involve the same action of puffing and then an almost neutral smelling vapor wafts into the air. A water supported vapor is what a person sees and this is an improvement over the traditional smoke that comes off a tobacco product.

Just as a normal cigarette does, the electronic cigarettes will indicate when it is active. There is a red LED light on the end in addition to a chip controller, a long lithium battery, a cartridge and an atomization chamber where the liquid is turned into a vapor.

Smoking is all about nicotine and when a person smokes these electronic cigarettes, they are not disappointed. There are cartridges a person could purchase that contain nicotine, however the majority of people are satisfied when they smoke these cigarettes because the atomizer fabricates the vapor and when it’s inhaled, gives a person the same feeling of satisfaction as a tobacco based smoke.

These revolutionary smokes are safer for people who crave smoking but are trying to quit or who are tired of all the carcinogens getting into their system. Because they are refillable, one can purchase the liquid that creates the vapors, they are much cheaper than ordinary cigarettes. Additionally, there is no waste, no ashes, no butts and no second-hand smoke for friends and family to cough through during a conversation or meal.

One of the nice things about smoking the electronic cigarette over a tobacco based cigarette is there is no bad breath. The tar and carbon monoxide gas is gone and this combination is part of the reason for the ‘smoker’s breath’ many people experience.

A smoker will spend less money on the starter kits then they would on a few packages of regular tobacco cigarettes so this makes the electronic cigarettes more economical. What is most expensive for smokers is not the elements that make up a cigarette, it’s the state and local taxes that are added before they are purchased. These new cigarettes could be ordered online and sent to a persons address so there would be no extra taxes.

Because they contain no thick tar, harmful chemicals or toxins that could damage a person’s lungs, the new e cigarettes are a healthy choice for smokers. They are the ‘green’ option for those who like to smoke but don’t want all the waste of cigarette butts all over the place. People who want to make a fresh start for their health and the environment should take a look at the new way to smoke.
