Well this day you have decided to stop drinking. It is a common happening. We do want something, but are not really sure how to go about it. Stop drinking decision is no exception to it. How to stop drinking? Do not listen to your own thoughts over again once you have made up your mind to stop drinking. Be as stubborn as a rock that you are going to quit alcohol. Never look back. Throw every bottle in the garbage; full, half full, and quarter full, throw everything to the bins. Empty your home bar to the sink.

Anyone going sober may become erratic all of a sudden, thinking why on earth should I stop this. It is a point to realize that it improves your health. You may die any day, any point in time, but why do you still want to live. It is something like that. It does not mean you should die today. When you opt to live without dying when you have the freedom to die this minute; it is always a good decision to quit alcohol, stop drinking to live healthy, have an efficient memory, work efficiently increase your productivity, play your commitment towards your family right, care for your parents, interact with your children remember they mimic you. You drink today, they drink tomorrow. Improve your interaction with friends, your intimacy with your love, your care for your wife, your security for your children. You appear esteemed to your society!

Close your eyes, breath in a movement, set a goal, a prayer, a decision to stop drinking, tell it to your inner conscious self 5 times that you are going to stop drinking. Repeat this everyday before sleep and early in the morning. Your involuntary senses will listen to your need. You will see the result of this one-minute therapy instantly.

Stop drinking decision is a big boost to your health. You loose lot of calories. You get a healthy liver. Liver transplantation! Well you escape it. Kidney transplantation! Yes you stay miles away from it. Diabetes! Obviously yes, but a little diet too. Go on a regular exercise program. Who told you exercises should be only in the morning. Contact your doctor! Recent researches prove exercising at leisure is more beneficial than religious and half-hearted exercise. Compensate your drinking hours with exercises. A healthy and a sensible life style change.

Discuss with your friends on how to stop drinking. You can ask your wife to remind you if she sees that you are likely to relapse. Tell her to give you a warning. She will not deny it. You know she will happily do it for you.

It is a common happening that many do skip the idea of quitting alcohol. Having failed multiple attempts you might be ashamed to declare time and again that you are going to stop drinking. Alcoholic Anonymous is a very good solution if your have faced any of these fits. The people at AA will help you; motivate you, to quit drinking. All that you need to do is register with them and declare you want to quit. The rest assured. They are behind you! You will be surprised they care for your sobriety more than yourself.

Well, you may be tempted at those social events to go for an alcohol. You may have a hard time keeping way from them, in such an event avoid that party you are not going to loose anything. Remember your friends are not going to pay all your bills. When you helplessly need to attend that social event go with a strong willed and determined friend, your very close pal who will take all his rights and might to keep you away from drinking, who may not dare to even slap you right away if you are behaving a too much. Give him the rights to slap you if you are crossing your limits. Tell him to take you to a doctor if you experience withdrawal symptoms. Seek immediate medical attention if you are tempted beyond limits.
