A Trade Off Between Your Weak And Strong Muscles
By Wanda Bluett
If it seems that one specific group doesn’t get much training, start working with it. Find exercises that will build strength and endurance in that part of your body. If you’ve cash to spend, you can choose to have a personal trainer. This will usually last for an hour. Ask the trainer to find which muscles in your body are weak, and need work to eliminate that weakness. Your weaker body parts will be better worked on with the assistance of a trainer.
Every athlete has reasons – conscious or subconscious – for neglecting certain muscle groups. At times, an athlete might simply neglect one area while training like the neck area. But if you’re playing any contact sport, you need to build a powerful neck muscle. When you’re in an uncomfortable position during any of these events, your neck is the main support of your head’s weight.
You are likely to disregard a muscle group because targeting all your body parts isn’t that easy. Lat pulldown machines can help you target on your latissimus dorsi muscles – muscles in the midsection of your back. However, this exercise won’t develop your spinal erectors. The upper portion of your body will have more difficulty in doing its function if these muscles aren’t well developed. Despite the strength that your upper back and core have, if your spinal erectors are uncared for then you have a greater tendency to be out of balance.
You need to take note of all the body parts that you use in and out of your sport. Discover which part of your body is weak and target your routines on them. Peforming these simple recommendations will go a long way.
