Burn Your Belly Fat – Effective Techniques Revealed

Understanding how your body works and why you are out of shape is key when you are looking to understand how to lose belly fat. The most common belief is that it stems from a sedentary lifestyle and poor dietary habits. Those might be contributing factors, but other deeper reasons also exist.

The two most common body shapes are pear and apple. You are apple shaped if you mainly store fat in the middle section of your body. Stress causes the body to release cortisol. Cortisol results in excessive production of sugar by your liver. This makes you feel hungrier and in turn, you eat more. These calories go right to your tummy.

Poor digestion is also a result of stress. This presents itself by way of bloating and gas. People who have fat in their stomach area are often also dealing with bloating and gas problems.

A slow metabolism is a big culprit in excess stomach fat. It gets slower as we age. Calories are not burned as easily as they were before. A slow metabolism usually results in fat being stored in the stomach area.

Watch your posture. A slouching posture can give the impression of a potbelly. Stand in the mirror and check your posture. If you slouch, then straighten up, and see how you appear less fat than is actually the case. Posture is important in terms of your confidence and appearance.

Retiring to bed on a full stomach is also not a good idea. It is said to be a very unhealthy habit. Food should be given three hours minimum to digest. Eating food within three hours of going to bed will result in an accumulation of fat around the tummy. If you need to ingest something then take a glass of milk or have a banana. Nuts and raisins are also good snacks to snack on at this time. The calcium from the milk will aid your night’s sleep as well.

Pinpoint the reasons that you are overweight. There are a multitude of reasons why this is the case and as many benefits to losing this fat. Establishing this information will assist you in getting rid of it. Medical research reveals to us that women who are apple shaped and overweight are liable to suffer from Ischaemic Heart Disease.

It may take years of neglect before you realize that you need to lose stomach fat. Therefore, you cannot expect it to achieve fat burning the moment you strap on the latest miracle gadget. It may be a slow and frustrating process, but the benefits speak for it. Your health risks will be reduced and you will look and feel good.

For the best results, in conjunction with a healthy diet and positive outlook, you should adopt a consistent exercise routine. Over time, you will start feeling good about yourself and start seeing results. You may not seem to experience fat loss right away, but every bit of exercise helps.
