Identifying The Origins Of The HCG Shot

By Amelia Handley

Most people have at least heard of hormone therapy. Many people over the age of thirty have accessed it for its anti aging and general health benefits. Other people access it for treatment of certain illnesses, conditions and deficiencies. In many instances it can be a very effective treatment. In most cases it is administered using the traditional injection.

But that’s a little too basic and vague to actually answer the question, “Where did the HCG shot come from?” We still don’t have the where or the why or the how that is attached the story of the HCG shot. Many of us have been involved in discussions of the HCG shot. And we’ve all been involved in the discussions. They seem to focus on the amazing results, but often skip over the rest. Many think that HCG shots are a new fangled, recently released weight loss method because they just started hearing about it in the last year. But it isn’t new.

HCG refers to Human Chorionic Gonadotropin. HCG is a hormone that is produced naturally in the human body. It is meant to interact with the hypothalamus. The hypothalamus, in turn, interacts with the eating/drinking portion of the brain.

Dr. Simeons, recognizing the advantage that was offered by HCG’s interaction with the hypothalamus, introduced the hormone as a weight loss tool over 50 years ago. His entire program was founded on the use of the HCG shot. And his entire program was designed to generate drastic weight loss results. It was quite quickly dubbed the cure for obesity.

In general there’s not really a discussion about whether or not HCG shots can provide the possibility for drastic weight loss. The average daily weight loss numbers speak for themselves (1 to 2 pounds on average per day). It’s been in use for over 50 years proving its stability and effectiveness. Not only does the use of HCG for weight loss mean that individuals can make it through very low calorie diets without being bothered by hunger pains, but they are also benefitting from the HCG’s ability to reconfigure the body’s method of dealing with fat. Empty fat cells won’t be left laying around anymore. They get absorbed back into the body.

So HCG, in general, makes it easier to stay on the diet and it also makes it easier for the body to maintain the weight lost while on the diet making the results more long term.

So it would seem that the HCG shot is pretty much the be all and end all of weight loss…yes? Actually many believe this and they couldn’t be more wrong. Well…they could be MORE wrong, but they are definitely wrong in this case. There are surgical options that offer similar weight loss averages. And that’s not all.

Some have heard of homeopathy and some haven’t. It’s referred to by many as the science of nature. It’s been in use for longer than any other form of health treatment. It is comprised of non-invasive treatments for a variety of medical conditions and illnesses. Many were more than excited to see that there was a homeopathic version of the HCG shot being released. The homeopathic HCG weight loss formula is used within the basic format of Dr. Simeons’ weight loss protocol as a replacement of the shots. And it is very effective. It actually offers the same weight loss averages. And it can be had at a much lower price and with far less stress. You don’t even have to visit your doctor’s office.
