Learn How To Lose Fat

By Zafer L Adrian

Do you want to learn how to lose fat? It is not all that difficult to lose fat. The challenge is in keeping it off. You will need to make permanent alterations in your lifestyle, rather than making temporary changes in your eating and exercise habits, which you then forget once you meet your goal.

The bottom line is, you must expend more calories than you take in, on a daily basis, as a way of life. When you are on the road to reaching your target weight, you will do more exercise than you will need to do, once you have reached it.

This is in contrast to your eating habits. As soon as you make the change in your diet in terms of how much you eat, there will be no change even once you have met the goal for your weight. For example, a man may choose to take in 1800 calories a day and a woman might choose 1300. That will remain constant.

The only difference, before and after, should simply be in the calories you are burning in your exercise program. This is crucial, because if you believe you can go off your “diet”, it is only a matter of time, before you are so far off it, that you are gaining the fat back.

Please get this concept established deep within your mind: You are not going on a diet. You are changing your diet. It is a temporary phenomenon to go on diet. It is permanent to change your diet. Your choices of food should ideally be natural, real food made; not human made, processed, food that is largely artificial.

Does that seem to be too hard to do all at once? You can start with a compromise in this department, if you need to. Commit to half your calories being natural, vegetables and fruits. Then, every month, increase the percentage of real food over the garbage. Just be sure that, no matter what, you stay within the calorie commitment you have made to yourself.

At the very least, cut out all sodas, including diet drinks. They are actually responsible for more fat than the non diet drinks, because they create cravings for carbohydrates. Drink lots of water, and green tea instead, and some grapefruit juice. All 3 of these beverages are proven fat burners and appetite controllers.

To turn your body into a 24 hour a day fat burning machine, use weight training as well as interval training. Weight training increases metabolism by building muscle. The more muscle you have, the more fat you burn. Interval training involves short bursts of all out exercise followed by doing nothing and then alternating, for ten to thirty four minutes. Now you know how to lose fat.
