By Emma Smith

Have you any idea of the latest new thing is in becoming fit? No, I am not surprised and when I tell you I know you will be surprised. Are you ready? Well, it is…pole dancing lessons. Yes that is the latest thing you can do in order to get fit.

I know that may surprise you a bit but it isn’t as you think. These days, pole dancing lessons are a recognised way of getting fit quickly. If you ever went to a class then you would see that both men and women do it. You can even get women only classes.

So where do you do pole dancing lessons? Well there are a lot of purpose built venues these days. They are clean with lots of poles ready for large classes. You will also find that a lot of gyms also have poles so that they can do some small classes. Keep an eye out next time you go.

I know that not everyone enjoys going out and doing new things. If you would prefer you can get a DVD which has classes on. You can workout in your lounge to see if you like it.

So what are the reasons behind pole dancing lessons becoming popular? In my opinion there are 2 reasons for it. It really is a great workout for the body and I will talk more on that later and secondly, there is the fun aspect.

Having fun when you work out is essential to meeting your goals. With this type of work out you get to meet new people and do something that you have never done before.

But possibly the biggest reason for pole dancing lessons being so popular is their ability to get you fit and healthy. They will get your heart racing which is good for your fitness. The resistance work using the pole will tone and strengthen your body as well.
