Visualize your metabolism as your engine…as a car or truck uses up gas, so does your metabolism burn calories to be used in the body. When your metabolism is working faster, the greater calories you are going to burn and you will undoubtedly lose extra weight along the way.
Look, as we grow older it’s natural that our body’s metabolism decelerates. So, how will you maintain your metabolism moving upward and ultimately keep the unwanted weight off?
Sorry to say, there is no way to build an explanation that’ll be straightforward inside of a small article other than to convey that there are numerous items that factor into your part that your metabolism plays in your own ability to burn fat, as well as your age and how active you are.
Unfortunately, there’s no way to craft and explanation that will be clear in a short blog post except to say that there are a number things that factor into the role that your metabolism plays in your ability to lose weight, including your age and how active you are.
Should you not eat, your metabolism may get slower as your body thinks that it must protect fat reserves for your survival. Actually it’s a genetic survival system that you have built in. Many people will have to work harder than other people to accelerate the process…believe me it took a little while for my body to get to the point it is in now in terms of burning calores efficiently.
Naturally there’ll always be those folks that drive you nuts cause they just watch their eating habits and work out very little to be thin as a rail…then there are the rest of us who have to work our butts off!!!
To efficiently “fire up” your metabolism, keep in mind the following tips:
Do not miss meals!! It really is better to take in 6 smaller meals each day rather than skip a significant daily meal — particularly breakfast. I drink Shakeology first thing each morning, to have my body fueled to the fullest extent before my training!!
Interval training (combining cardio and weight training) are good for burning calories and also to speed up your own fat burning capacity.
* Drink lots of water so that your system can easily rid itself of the toxic compounds which pull down your metabolism to a sluggish level. You will be impressed by your higher energy level just because of enjoying more water.
* Tone your muscles. Use weights or resistance bands to firm and tone your muscles, ridding yourself of fat and replacing it with lean muscles.
* Don’t indulge before bed time. Allow the body a chance to deal with extra calories before it slows down for rest.
* You have to lower your alcohol intake. A glass of wine is okay occasionally but you don’t have to drink the whole box of Franzia…lol!! Alcohol is like a “Yield” sign for your metabolism. Keep it to a minimum. Remember that alcohol is basically pure sugar.
Start working now to rev up your metabolism. Remember, that when your metabolism speeds up, you’ll be much happier with your progress!!
