Why You Need A Diet That Detoxifies Your Body
There are negative ways of losing weight. Examples of these side effects are the development of gallstones and poor nutrition. Some researches were conducted to study the impact of dieting on the gall bladder. With instant weight loss, the gall bladder might experience producing bile. Gall stones may develop as the gall bladder seizes to function properly. Some dieting methods do not consider proper nutrition. With poor nutrition we become susceptible to illnesses.
But there are ways lose weight without sacrificing health. You can carry on a dieting method without cutting out on necessary food groups. Always remember that in nutrition, we need steady supplies of protein, fiber, vitamins and minerals. Fats are also needed but not in huge servings. And the healthiest way to lose weight is to do it gradually. Losing weight in a very fast pace can cause serious health risks. Sudden and intense dieting does more harm than good, it might help you lose weight in the short run, but it is downright painful and triggers primitive responses to famine which actually causes you to gain weight when ever you eat carbs.
Detoxification is needed by the body as well. Our environment is rich with harmful toxins. Toxins can be found on germs as well as the food that we eat. Toxins get accumulated in your body over time, some come from the environment whereas others are produced in your body during metabolism.
There are a lot of methods for detoxification. There are 3 day detox programs, master cleanse programs and water therapy programs. Most detox programs focus on high fiber and low fat diets. Detox programs can include juicing fruits, going on wheat diets and drinking non-fat milk.
Master cleanse on the other hand is a purely juice diet. It’s also called a juice fast wherein the diet relies on freshly squeezed fruits. Fresh juice is good for you when you are trying to detoxify because it provides major nutrients in simple forms so that complex metabolism is not involved, the glucose supplies energy to sustain the body in the absence of carbs and fats.
Aside from lowering down harmful toxins, Detox also lowers down cholesterol. With detoxifying foods, fat elimination also occurs. Citrus fruits, oats and lentils all burn fat. This is a high fiber low calorie diet. Vitamin C is used to metabolize fat, insoluble fibers reduce fat profile, and dietary fibers lower bad cholesterol. As the fats in the body are burned, slowly, we start losing weight. We have to remember, when it comes to our bodies, we cannot rush things.
