5 Reasons why You Should Stop Smoking, Now!

2. Smoking is no longer cool
Many people begin smoking due to peer pressure or for other social reasons. At a previous time it was trendy or “cool” to smoke, but that is not so. With study after study confirming the harmful consequences of smoking, the tide has turned. It is beginning to become quite tough to smoke in public areas and smoking is viewed as a bother by the society at large. If you started smoking to be “in”, take a look around and you will see the things have changed. Keep up with these changes and stop smoking now.
3. Set a nice example for your children or people who look your decision
If you know that turning into a smoker was a real mistake then you need to ensure that your children or friends who look your decision do not follow in your steps. The simplest way to teach others is by example. If your kids or family see that mom and dad or their big brother and big sister do not smoke, then they're going to be less likely to start smoking. So , consider the example you are setting, and do whatever you can to modify your life style.
4. Improve your physical performance
If you like to play sports then you actually know that endurance is highly important. Smoking meddles with your breathing and your body’s capacity to absorb oxygen. If you want to enhance your sporting performance and raise your endurance, then it's time to put down your cigarettes.
5. Don’t pass on smoke and harm others around you
Even if you are the only one who smokes in your home, your smoke is dangerous to your non-smoking friends. Second user smoke has been shown to be the reason behind illness in non-smokers and that's the real reason why smoking is now being banned in public areas. While the new non-smoking laws will really help to protect the general public at large, you can shield your closest buddies and relatives by making an individual call to stop smoking
There are a lot more reasons to quit smoking, but just think about these five reasons and decide that you're intending to do whatever is needed to stop smoking. It may be a call that will help you to live a long, healthy and happy life.
