The yoga is an activity that involves adoption of specific body postures, respiring systems and easy meditation, which will provide physical, psychological and biochemical benefits to the body. It’s a physical, mental, and non secular discipline which is widely practiced for good health and psychological relaxation.

The explicit body postures in yoga are called “asanas”, regular practice of asanas increases the flexibility of the body, bolster muscles and relax the mind. The yoga decreases the levels of a chemical called catecholamine which is produced by the adrenal glands as a stress reply. It also reduces the levels of neurotransmitters like epinephrine, nor-epinephrine and dopamine, in the brain to give a sense of calm.

4- In patients with depression, practice of yoga increases oxygen supply to the brain and relieve the symptoms. Latest research has proven that, yoga is advised as a supportive care while treating obsessive compulsive disorder.

5- Yoga has awfully beneficial effects on heart ; it acts as an antioxidant and reduces blood cholesterol and triglycerides, to prevent heart problems. It also reduces blood pressure and slows the heart rate, which reduces the risk of developing stroke.
