Make A Better Tomorrow By Buying Green Toys For Your Kids Today!

By Paul Nerrad

If you have children you know the worry of how the world will be when they get older. By changing the way we do things today, we could actually make the world a better place for our children tomorrow. As clich as that sounds, it is simply the truth and toy companies around the world have recognized this. Buying green toys for your children or grandchildren to play with is a great way to make a stand in creating a better world.

What is the difference between a regular toy and a green toy? Green toys are simply made from recycled products. A great way to create building blocks or play tool sets is by using recycled plastic like old milk jugs. Because there are so many toys that can be made from recycled products, toy companies have started putting forth effort to help the environment as well. When you think of timeless toys, the log cabin toys are one of the first to come to mind. Since these toys were made from real wood they made an impact on the environment. These toys have now joined the fight for a better tomorrow by going green.

Manufacturing log cabin toys from reclaimed and recycled wood is a great way to help out the environment. You may be called a tree hugger for buying eco friendly products, but it really takes more than that to claim that name. It is actually respectable to show you care about the world, even by buying a simple green toy for your children. Many other similar products like the log cabin toys are also joining the fight. Tree house kits and Lincoln logs are just a couple of the similar products being made by recycled wood and going green.

Because “green” log cabin toys are made with recycled wood, your color options may be limited. The assembled kits are a more authentic looking natural wood log cabin. The environment also benefits when the logs are left unfinished without any paint or varnish. This not only means no lead or other chemical exposure for the children but also for the Earth. Plus, with the prices for these log cabin kits at only around $20, there isn’t any reason not to go for the greener version. You’re saving money, and the environment.

Toys are going green in other ways than just using recycled and reclaimed wood and plastics. The companies can cut down on driving and delivery costs by making and manufacturing these green toys within Canada. Hopefully other companies will follow these toy manufacturers that are realizing the importance of going green. Our children’s and children’s children lives will be improved by making these small steps towards a better world.

You can find a wide variety of green toys on the market now. Toys like Frisbees, trucks, jump ropes and even sand box play sets are being made with recycled materials collected from all over the world. We will make the world a better place, one toy at a time.
