Differences Of Different Types Of Hotel

By Nicole Cruz

When you visit a hotel there are several factors. One, undoubtedly, is price. Some people don’t worry about it, but most people think about their money and don’t just spend whatever they want. So, you must determine what your budget is and what type of hotel fits that budget.

Where economic accommodations are concerned, you won’t have to spend much money, but you won’t get much in return. Most of these places are pretty old, and although they are clean, they are old fashioned. The furniture may be old or worn, and they certainly won’t look too modern. If you’re lucky, you might get a simple, free breakfast and/or a free newspaper with the price.

On the other side of the spectrum are luxury hotels. With the higher price come better services than at lower priced hotels. Food, newspapers, free phone calls, and more are what you can expect. Higher priced hotels usually have pools, massages, spas, and the like–things that you normally wouldn’t get. People usually give you what you want, within reason, and concierge service is normal. The employees at luxury hotels want to make you happy so that you return to stay again.

Between budget hotels and luxury hotels lie the standard hotels. Such establishments offer more than lower priced hotels, but still much less than the fancy hotels. Free services are present in moderation, but the employees feel no obligation to pamper or do everything for you like they do in luxury hotels. This seems to be unimportant, because many people like the standard hotels anyways.

It makes people feel like they’re in a good hotel without the added price. The linens will be fairly new, and the fixtures will be too. Middle-of-the-road hotels are fairly nice, but they usually do not offer free massages, spas, and other fancy treatments. Also, for those with limited cash, their hotel options are limited.
