Look Striking In Your Costume With Red Contact Lenses

By Jared Parkers

Red contact lenses are a great way to enhance your look. These contacts are really eye catching and can help you create your look, no matter whether it is a ‘Twilight’ look or you just want something that matches an outfit. You can go several routes to get a hold of some of these.

Red lenses will be very eye catching for anyone that sees you with them in. You can only get the lenses with a prescription. Make an appointment with an eye doctor (look under opthalmologist in the yellow pages or online), attend, and get your prescription. Once you have the prescription, you can go to the internet and find them in many places. Red contact lenses will catch many peoples’ eyes because they are not common and are expensive.

If you do decide to get red contact lenses, you will want to search around a little to get the best price for them. I would recommend you search the internet well to find the best prices from a reputable dealer. Do not over order or order in bulk as contacts do have an expiration date on them. Make sure you get enough for the year, and annotate the site that you got them from to return next year when it comes time to get more of those fancy red contacts.

With red contacts, you could really dazzle some people if you picked the right outfit. Red could either match or contrast perfectly with the right outfit. Red is a very special color, so the right outfit would be perfectly offset with the lenses.

A key time to wear red contacts would be during the holidays. Red contacts look great with those scary costumes. You could match your lenses with the perfect holiday outfit, as shown above. Red lenses generally sell pretty quickly during popular seasons, but you could really wow holiday party guests with your red eyes at holiday parties.

Holiday seasons are the most common time for red contact lenses to be sold. If you really plan on ordering red to go with your costume, I would recommend that you order as early as possible after deciding to use these lenses in your costume. You can make sure you get them in time to wow your costume judges!

In the U. S., you can only get red lenses with a prescription. I would recommend you get opaque lenses, as they will show up pretty brightly no matter what your natural eye color is. Others will see the color and you will have no ill effects. Only if you are in an extremely dark situation will you notice the red contacts, because some of the non-clear part might cover your pupil. This will not be a long-lasting effect and you should have no problems with your lenses.

Summing up, you could wear these red colored contacts any day of the year and must get a prescription to wear them. Make sure you order them ahead of time if you have a holiday or special date to wear them for. Good luck and have fun wearing your red contacts!
