The Wedding Cake Is The Peak Of Any Wedding Ceremony

By Guest

There is a saying that goes like this: “A symbol is never more important that what the symbol represents”. This very true and it perfectly fits the issue that we are going to talk about hereinafter: the most important parts of a wedding. Although some are getting almost crazy about making absolutely everything right, surging through each and every detail and missing the really important things, that is, enjoying themselves and making it a very special moment for themselves to remember for the rest of their lifetime.

Every couple would like their wedding to be perfect, but, moreover, to suit their personality, that is, ring true to who they are. The best way to do that is by customizing the wedding ceremony and taking care of every detail themselves. Putting a wedding all together means a lot of work, but if you plan everything a long time ahead it might work out perfectly. One of the most important parts of a wedding, according to some, is the “cake moment”. Wedding traditions are important, as well as the concepts and themes to be conveyed and the types of emotions that are evoked when the great cake is brought on the wedding scene.

Some focus too more on little details, which, of course, can make or destroy a wedding celebration, but no one should forget that the wedding is a celebration of the commitment people are making, and this should be their primary focus. At the end of the party, the couple has got the opportunity of adding a little more glamor on them, and they are one more time in the lime light.

There is an old tradition which survived through time in some parts of the countries in the Eastern part of Europe. This custom has its roots as far back as the Roman Empire. It looks like the very first wedding cake used to be made of oat, especially baked for the nuptial.

In our time, the wedding cake is a multi-layered extravaganza, big enough for hundreds of people to be able to eat a slice of it. Wedding cakes are becoming more and more fancy and their elaboration require more and more time and ingenuity. Regardless of its history, symbolism or whatever ingenious baking methods are used, the wedding cake ceremony is an important part of a wedding and, the couple eating one slice of it is one very special moment to be remembered for a lifetime.
