A Little Info On The Waterhog Wooden Door Mat

By Jack Delrento

Waterhog wooden door mats are chosen most often by those looking for a door mat, regardless of the variety that is available. No, these mats are not the most inexpensive, but they are of high quality and they will last the longest, so in the long run you will be saving money on not having to spend your hard earned dollars replacing worn out door mats.

If you need a door mat but budgetary issues are a concern, there are many less expensive mats from which you can choose.

But these less expensive mats typically will not be as efficient in cleaning one’s shoes as the more costly mats. Further, when a mat is not very effective, the carpet and floor cleaning inside the home is not reduced as much as one would hope.

The Waterhog mat is specifically engineered to rid shoes of both mud and dirt. This type of mat is made such that each square yard will absorb approximately one and a half gallons of water. The operative feature is a rim running around the mat which causes the water to be retained in the mat and not allowed to escape through the edges.

Some of the common problems that most people have with mats can be that the mats don’t stay in place at the entrance and that the corners of the mat may wrinkle up causing them to be a hazard. The specially designed Waterhog style door mat has a rubber backing that had studs built in and that keeps the mat from moving around.

It is much easier to keep your house clean and free of dirt when you have a mat that is made to absorb a substantial amount of water and dirt.

Cleaning is so simple when all you have to do is vacuum the mat, but if you prefer they can also be cleaned by hosing them down outside. These mats can be cleaned quickly and they don’t take very long to dry.
