Always read the manual and the guidelines that come with your new auto seat. When you open the container be careful that you keep all the pieces thoroughly and assemble the tools that you need before starting the installation process. If you have acquired the Graco Nautilus 3 in 1 automobile seat you have 3 selections of seat for your kid and your installation rely on your childs size and age.

The front facing option is for youngsters from 20 to 65 pounds, a child aged 12 months to 6 years but this obviously is dependent on the dimensions of your kid. This front -facing option has a 5 point harness for complete safety and should be set up specifically for your kid.

The straps of the harness must be always secured in the slots below your little ones shoulders, many brands have a clip that pulls the harness straps together. Ensure this clips so it is on a level with the childs armpits. The straps on the harness must stay horizontal especially over the youngster’s shoulders and legs. Don’t allow the straps to become twisted. And make certain that the harness webbing is taut not slack. The crotch strap must be buckled between the childs legs.

If you need to use a blanket to cover your youngster, always put the child in her vehicle seat first and buckle her in soundly and then add the blanket over the top of the harness. Never put the blanket in back of the toddler or under the straps or you will interfere with the correct safety function of the vehicle seat.

The Graco Nautilus 3 in 1 automobile seat permits 3 different positions for the front facing car seat and you can adjust it for max comfort whether your child is sitting upright or when he is sleeping.
