It is hard to maintain everything in our lives these days, an d when winter rolls around that job just got a lot more difficult. There is nothing from stopping us enjoying the winter months, it just it makes people a little crazier than usual and puts everyone in a very sour sort of mood. Now the rain and wind cannot be behind it all, because they aren’t even that bad to deal with in the first place really. When the rain hits you should just invest in a really good umbrella, and well the wind isn’t as bad as we make it out to be either, and it is nothing that a good coat won’t fix; so why are people always so mad? It might be because people tend to drag in dirt and mud from outside all over our carpets and out wet pets don’t seem to notice that its winter, so they bring everything from outside onto our couches. That is the worst part of winter really, the fact that our homes start to fall apart. We tend to forget what winter did to us last year because the minute we feel that first little bit of sunshine on our faces, everything that happened over the past three months gets forgotten about and nothing gets done. We forget about how cold it got in our homes and how the dampness became unbearable. Then when winter rolls around yet again, you can always bet on that someone in your home will ask “was it this cold last winter? I don’t remember it being this bad do you?

In order to make sure we don’t forget what winter does to our homes we have to make a plan of attack and get everything done that needs doing in those cold three months. We cannot hold out for the sunshine any longer, we just have to make do with the rain and wind and get everything in working order. We can hire someone to come in and help us while we figure out a schedule, or like some people we might opt to have a cleaner full time while we take care of everything else that is going on in our lives.

Just because it starts to get a little cold does not mean we can stop and forget about everything that needs doing. It is important to keep on our toes and get our homes ready for those chilly three months.
