Dryer Balls – Helps Dry Your Clothes Faster

By Olivia Wilson

Dryer balls was somewhat of a unique product. The small balls that you put in your dryer along with your clothes are supposed to help keep them from being statically charged once done, and some even claim to be able to make your close softer once done as well.

Dryer balls are essentially medium-sized rubber balls, usually with spikes all over them. This design is supposed to help the circulation of hot air throughout the close during the drying process. While this may not seem plausible, for many people these types of balls have proven to be very useful.

Dryer balls a pretty static for the movement that they produce, and by the fact that they repeatedly separate the clothes while the dryer is running. The fact that they reduce statically remove the close in the dryer is true. This makes the clothes less stiff in the end result. The softening properties that there are claim to have are due to the fact that, again, they are bouncing around the dryer the entire time.

You may not notice how many of these sheets that use a year, but it can add up to quite a bit, especially if you wash approximately 1 load of clothes per day in a whole year. This is 365 sheets! That is no small amount. These are good alternative to dryer sheets, as dryer sheets not reusable and must be thrown away after every use. The balls that are made for dryer use are meant to last up to 1 to 2 years, then must be replaced. This makes them a much more environmentally friendly alternative.

Also worth noting, is that these balls can also help reduce the amount of time it takes dry. Because they are repeatedly pummeling and moving close inside the dryer more than they usually would, the clothes get drier faster. Some have reported that these types of balls reduce drying time by 25% to 40%, which is no laughing matter if you are watching your power bills.

In just about any department store can you find these balls. Their popularity is absolutely sky rocketing so it is becomingly increasingly easier to find them.

If you want to get your clothes dried faster and better, dryer balls are your only bet.
