Pointers For Keeping Your Children At Home

By Matt Q Darley

My husband and I know how tough it can be to control young people because we have 2 of our own.

Keeping our kids from sneaking out of the household whenever they were not supposed to head out used to be almost impossible. Being grounded soon after just made every successful escape attempt all the more enjoyable, and amusing, for them. A close friend then recommended placing a wireless door and window alarm system at each and every possible exit point inside our home.

Susan said to me that these kinds of home alarms are set up on doors and windows to alert you if a door or window has been opened. A deafening alarm is activated and could surprise and also discourage any kind of trespassers and also notify the neighbors.

While Susan’s main objective in fitting her household with home security alarms was to help keep crooks out, they also kept her teenage daughters from heading out without her realizing it.

Susan said that a number of other home safety alarm systems offered aren’t quite helpful to her because only trespassers trigger them. Her daughters could possibly switch an alarm system off just before opening a door or window to be able to go out, and just switch it back on once again when they have sneaked back within.

What Susan had installed in her home was an entry alarm with RF remote control, a door window alarm which couldn’t be switched on or off except by remote. Whenever her daughters are grounded, she arms each and every alarm in the system through her remote control, and her girls can’t open the front or back door or a window without informing their parents and even the neighbors.

We obtained our very own such entry alarm with RF remote control, one device for every exit point. Each alarm includes a main unit and also a magnetic bar installed on a door or window frame using some powerfully sticky tape. Each alarm sets off a 110 dB siren.

Now, with a window and door alarm at all our exit points, our boys believe it when we tell them that they just can’t go sneaking out of the house anymore.
