Things To Consider When Buying A Taser Gun

By Jen Cortes_

The taser gun works similar to its sister product the stun gun except for the charge electrodes being joined at the housing. In a taser, the electrodes shoot out on a long conductive wire which is part of the items electrical circuit. Law enforcement and security guards use these weapons as an alternative to carrying lethal things like guns.

Law enforcement uses some tasers that the public cannot. You are not legally able to carry those weapons unless of course you are police, military or the like, but the devices available to consumers work just as good and have nicer designs. They come in many colors like black, red, blue, silver and even yellow.

You can use this item in 2 ways. Either fire it from a short distance or place it directly on someone’s skin like you would a stun gun. When you buy one, you must get it activated by Taser International once you have passed a background check. This helps prevent any underage kids or felons from carrying a C2.

These devices sure have come a long way since they first hit the market in 1969 to becoming a big part of law enforcement and security companies. The taser gun has been used as a manner of preventing using deadly force, and instead just immobilizing the perpetrators with the shock of electricity it send through their body. This will incapacitate their nervous system and bring them to the ground.

Taser International has come out with many different models. However the C2 has become a favorite because of the small size, cool design and price. The C2 is a perfect consumer option that even comes in pink for the ladies. Personally, I love the pink one because I’m very girly.

No matter what color you get, there is a lifetime warranty with your device and you can be assured that once Taser turns it on for you, anyone who tries to mess with you will be stopped in their tracks. This is probably the best alternative out there to carrying a real gun.
