Houston is the biggest city in Texas. Chances are that you’re going to need a car to get around. Would you like to know what other people from Houston are searching for?

This article is about what cars people are searching for in Houston Texas. These are the top 10 searched for cars. In the list are Chevrolet, Ford, Toyota, Honda, Nissan, BMW, Dodge, Mercedes Benz, Lexus, and Cadillac.

1. Chevrolet

Topping the list for car searches in Houston is Chevrolet Houston, with just over 255,000 searches. The top car in Los Angeles was Toyota. Chevrolet was number three on that list. This shows that in Houston, at least, people prefer an American-made car.

2. Ford

Ford Houston comes in second on the list, with just over 215,000 searches. Ford was the number 5 car in Los Angeles. With Chevrolet Houston and Ford Houston running in the number 1 and 2 spots on the Houston list, it’s clear that if you want to be in the in-crowd you’ll want to drive a domestic car.

3. Toyota

Trailing Ford Houston by about 45,000 searches is Toyota Houston with fewer than 170,000 searches. Although it dropped from the top spot when compared to L.A., it is still a strong competitor in Houston.

4. Honda Houston

Honda Houston is the second most searched Japanese car in Houston. There were a little more than 145,000 searches for Honda Houston. It trails Toyota in most major cities, but it is still a good solid car.

5. Nissan Houston

In fifth place is Nissan Houston. That makes three Japanese automakers in a row. It does give the impression that although Texans still prefer domestic they may be switching loyalties to the more dependable Japanese cars. Nissan Houston was searched about 120,000 times.

6. BMW

BMW Houston arrives 6th on the list. Close to 110,000 people searched for BMW Houston. This is a strong showing for a luxury automobile in a city that values practicality.

7. Houston Dodge

Increasing the standing of domestic cars in Houston is the seventh place car: Dodge Houston. This is the first car on the Top 10 List to pull in less than 100,000 searches. It came in at about 92,000.

8. Houston Mercedes Benz

Almost 82,000 people searched for Mercedes Benz Houston. Just like in L.A., Mercedes Benz trailed BMW in Houston. However, the fact that it still made the Top 10 List shows that there is a solid following of Mercedes Benz cars in Houston.

9. Houston Lexus

Another luxury automobile in the top 10. Lexus Houston received 68,000 searches. People who search Lexus like luxury but not the high prices of BMW or Mercedes Benz.

10. Houston Cadillac

About 61,000 searches came in for Cadillac Houston. Although not in the number one spot, number ten is still respectable for this high-end, American-made automobile treat.

That’s the list. Hopefully, it will give you a better understanding of what people are searching for in Houston. Happy car hunting.
