One of the greatest creation ever was the automobile. I know it has been around for so long, but without it the world would be different. But what most people don’t know is that those cars can go bad and cost a ton of money. There are parts to the car that really should be taken care of. When these parts of the car break they can really cost a ton of money. These are the major parts you really need to maintain.

The first big part of your car you need to be real careful with is your transmission. This is the part of your car that helps your car shift gears. It isn’t fun to pay for this part when it does break down. It is one of the most expensive repairs in my auto repair shop. The best way to care for this part is to make sure it always has good fluid in it. Also you want to be careful when changing gears.

The engine is the next part that is very costly to diagnose and repair. Of course everyone pays attention to the engine because it is what runs the car. In my auto repair I always give advice to my clients to maintain their engine. The main way to do that is to make sure you always change the oil. If you do that then it will continually run good.

Another expensive part to fix are your brakes. Hard to believe this small part of the car is expensive, but it is. In my transmission repair shop this is the most common repair that comes in.

The best way to care for this part is to make sure you always have brake fluid. You might want to make sure you treat your brakes good and not to be too hard on it.

When those parts break they usually cost a lot and are not fun to deal with. So follow these simple do’s and dont’s and your car will run smoothly for a long time.
