What Should I Do To Make My Residence Safer For My Family?

By Steve B Bullerre

What can I do to make my home safer now that I am a family man? I used to resort to window bars and double locks to shore up my condo unit but I need to do better than rudimentary security gadgets to alleviate my intensified fears.

The shock activated Door Guard Alarm with Flashlight got my search for family security products rolling. Moving the back door knob, where it was a no-brainer to hang, triggers the siren for 20 to 30 seconds at 98 dB.

The Auto Dialer with Safety Alarm solved my problem of what can I do to make my home safer since obtaining a sizable house. It calls through to 5 preset numbers and rings any of a 102 dB siren or chime if motion is discerned at the dining area.

Guarding the entryway is the Electronic Barking Dog Alarm with radar eyes watching out for motion as far as 20 feet through glass and doors. It barks rabidly like a real dog, which as the activity comes nearer, gets louder and more often.

I fussed over what can I do to make my home safer for my growing kids until I placed the Glass Breakage Alarm on the 2nd story. Releasing a 101 dB alert, its vibration detector further works on wood and metal.

With an activity sensor for 8 yards plus a vibration detector up to 250 feet, the HomeSafe Wireless Home Security System safeguards my home office with money safes. It releases a signal and auto dials up to 5 preset numbers.

What can I do to make my home safer in outer areas like the garage? I depend on the Intruder Alarm with RF Remote Control to operate several shock activated 110 dB door and window alarms from a comfortable distance using 3 radio frequencies.

I added the Mini Alert Alarm with mounting bracket to the mix of my family security products for the playroom. It utilizes passive infrared technology to establish an invisible triangular barrier that launches the alarm once infiltrated.
