Kids Have Fun With Army Play Weapons

By Dwight Andrews

“Bang, bang!” Children love to play cops and robbers, or be a cowboy hero using their toy guns. Some people believe that allowing children to play with toy guns is just harmless fun, while others think that it is a terrible idea.

Regardless of what opinions are out there, toy companies are still going to produce army toy guns, and parents will still buy them for their children.

One way to get around this point is to buy your children army toy guns that in no way resemble the real thing, because many do. You can buy toy guns that are obvious toys with the loud bright colors and outrageous shapes, even from a distance.

There have been tragic incidents where children were hurt because their toy guns looked real, and this is one way to avoid the problem. Water guns in the summer time are the best type of gun you can allow your kids to play with.

Another way to keep your kids army gun play safer is to only allow them to play indoors, or only let them play outdoors with supervision only. Also never let them take a toy gun to school. You can also limit them to only playing with their toy guns for certain periods of time only.

Children should be taught that even though they may be toys, guns should still be treated with respect. You don’t have to frighten them, but they do need to know that real guns can cause great harm and injury and have lasting consequences if used incorrectly.

And obviously you should never let the kids play with real guns unless you are directly supervising them in how to handle the real thing properly. You should keep the real guns locked up when not in use. With some supervision and common sense, army toy guns can be an enjoyable part of your kids childhood.

Army Toy Guns Let them know that play guns are different but they still have to be treated with respect. If they are very young, don’t even let them know that you have one. One pointer is to allow only toy guns that do not look real.
