Need To Save Space? Then Buy Childrens Bunk Beds

By John Gray

We are parents of two gorgeous identical twin boys. My husband now however needs to work from home so we definitely require the third bedroom to be made into a study. This meant the boys sharing one room, but as they are still young, they didn’t seem to mind.

We have a huge Victorian terraced house with large rooms, so the idea of buying bunk beds for the boys would leave them with plenty of space to play in. I asked them to help me choose the style of the bunk beds, we all sat down in front of the PC and began searching the net. We wanted the frame to be solid, well-made and safe with a guard rail that would stop whoever slept on the top, from falling out.

My husband measured the bedroom to see what size and shaped bunk beds to order. The boys after much discussion, argument then agreement, finally chose a pine L-shaped model. I was pleased because the bedroom was decorated in vibrant colours, so the pine bunk beds would fit in with the dcor.

Now the question was, could they decide who would sleep on the top bed and who on the lower one. I left it entirely up to them to choose and was most surprised when they told me they would take turns.

Buying these types of beds was easier than I thought. Since they were in an L-shape there was space underneath for a desk, which the boys said they would share. We found a matching unit with drawers, two each, and enough space on top for their computer. Under the bottom bunk were two huge drawers, ideal to keep spare bedding in.

With everybody in agreement I ordered the bunk beds online. I was given a delivery date, so the twins were thrilled to bits. I purchased some nice bed linen and matching curtains, just right for my two children. The beds soon arrived, all hubby had to do was build them up.They looked absolutely divine especially with new duvets and pillows. The room looked extremely large and light, the boys were delighted.

Their bedroom is now one of the most popular rooms in the house for the boys and their friends. Buying bunk beds was an excellent idea. They save a lot of space, look fantastic and are sturdy. The price we paid was amazing too. The company we purchased them from had extremely helpful staff who answered all the questions we put to them. They informed us the beds could be separated into two full sized divans as the boys got older, which was good news.

Many of my friends also have children and after seeing our bunk beds, they are thinking of buying some too. They really have been a great buy. I for one fully endorse this bedroom furniture company. Their customer service is second to none. The bunk beds have provided us with extra space and more storage room.
