When you are at your prime you and your partner start to consider having children. However, there are certain medical problems that can make it tough for some women to get pregnant. However, there are some medical dilemmas that you might encounter along the way. One problem that women experience is how to conceive with a tilted uterus.

The uterus is usually positioned straightly in an up and down position. A tilted uterus is a situation where the uterus is titled in a backward or forward position starting from the cervix down to the tailbone. It is also called retroflexed uterus, backward or retroverted uterus. Medical experts call it uterine retroversion, uterine retroflexion, and uterine retrodisplacement.

Any woman can be afflicted with this problem no matter what age, marital status or race they may have. Studies show that one-fifth of females are born with this type of uterus. Sometime there are cases where the uterus fails to move forward ad the woman ages. It can originate from a disease named fibroid tumor. This can also be from a procedure which got it displaced.

A tilted uterus is not a disorder. It is more of a situation. Majority of the women do not encounter any problems but some experience an unusual symptom. A widespread symptom of this condition is pain with sex. This is when the penis hits the uterus during intercourse.

If you are having some doubts that you have this condition, you can simply go to the doctor. Treatment may not be essential but you can undergo a procedure. The procedure is called UPLIFT or Uterine Positioning by Ligament Investment Fixation and Truncation. It is done by making a small incision in the stomach where the ligaments are shortened and help it stand, this procedure is known as laparoscopy.

This condition is not something that will prevent your fertility of the possibilities of you bearing a child. Some are born with this condition and usually becomes normal after giving birth. It may only occur to be a problem when the doctor identifies it to be the cause of your failure to conceive. Merely making the uterus be placed in its ideal position is the solution.

One natural way of straightening your tilted uterus is through simple exercise. There are some exercises that can help in realigning the uterus. This will enable you to save money because you are not required to undergo operation. You don’t have to go through the painful process with surgery.

Knowing how to conceive with a tilted uterus is not difficult to do. Be diligent and find books on the matter so you can be aware about how to solve it. Never go into a procedure that is severe unless your doctor advises you. It’s always safe to ask an expert’s opinion.

When you are trying to get pregnant, it can be tough to accept the possibility of having a medical condition you did not know about. But, there’s no need to worry since there are now ways on how to conceive with a tilted uterus.
