How To Get Your Ex Back Without Making Stupid Mistakes

By Angela Brennan

If you’re reading this article then I bet you want to know how to get your ex back more than anything right now. I understand the desperation, because I’ve been there myself. I went about things all the wrong way, but I’m here to tell you how to do it right, if you’re sure to listen and follow my advice properly.

1) Space is the Key

After a breakup, it’s important that you both have space away from each other. This means no texting, emailing, phoning or meeting up. I know that this is so hard, but it’ll stop you from scaring him off by being too emotional.

2) You Are Important

Now that you’ve got a bit of extra time on your hands, it’s time to focus on you and what made him fall in love with you in the first place. Work on what makes you happy, and eventually your personality will start to shine through, making you far more attractive to him.

3) Knowing When to Get in Touch Again

Once you’ve stopped being completely emotional then this is the time when you can get back in touch again. You should always be nice to him, always friendly, but keep all conversation away from the breakup. That way, the two of you will start to enjoy time together again in the way that you always used to.

4) Listen to Him

This is your perfect chance to listen to what he has to say. Depending on the reasons for the breakup, he probably still loves you but may have had a problem that he thought wouldn’t change. Sometimes you’ll find something you can change, and you can start the relationship over again by working these things out.

I know it’s hard, but you’re going to have to give it time if you want to know how to get your ex back. Don’t make the same mistakes I did – coming on too strong will only scare him off. If you’re careful and follow these steps then it’s possible that the two of you could have a real future together.

Get My Man Back is a blog by someone who has been there and learned the hard way so you don’t have to. If you’re feeling desperate then take a look at Getting Back Together to learn the steps you need to take to get him back.
