How To Organize Your Shoe Collection

By Jacky Grishan

All of us tend to collect a whole lot of shoes and still want more. Nothing wrong, in rewarding and indulging ourselves with shoes! However, the concern is about the right kind of storage and organization of your shoes.

When you are considering spring cleaning your shoe wardrobe, follow these steps for a more effective outcome. These steps are tried and tested strategies. Collect all the shoes from around the room or house. You will find them underneath beds, couches and in closets too. These will be the shoes that you can organize and store neatly.

Make a pile of these shoes and look at them with the most critical of eyes. Ensure that you toss out the shoes that are no longer repairable and wearable. Also, if you haven’t worn the particular pair for more than a year, then it is time for it to be donated.

The shoes that you wear frequently can be separated from the pile. These will include your favorite Christian Louboutin replica shoes. These shoes can be worn either at work or events. If you aren’t sure of some shoes then keep those aside in a separate pile.

Now, you have three different piles, shoes you need to discard, those shoes that you love and shoes you aren’t sure of. From the not sure of pile, see if you might be able to swap them with a friend. They might love to have that particular pair and give you another one in return. This might be a perfect way to get a new pair into your collection.

The rest of the shoes that need to be repaired should be sent to the cobbler immediately. The repairs could be to the heels, soles or lining. The shoes that are just not your style can be donated. Someone would be mighty glad to have them.

The moment you have given these shoes away you have more space in your closet. This can be used to store new shoes. Check out the seasons new shoes at Christian Louboutin replica shoes. Then, separate your shoes according to the different varieties. You could use segregate them based on formals or informal, different kinds such as flip-flops or sandals or on the basis of their heels. You can store these shoes in different ways in your closet so as to get them when you need them.

Another suggestion is to segregate your shoe collection according to the season. Label the boxes and keep the shoes that you aren’t going to use. You can remove them in the appropriate season. You can use your own creative options to bring about better organization or storage ideas.
