Should You Call When You Want To Get Ex Boyfriend Back?

By Edward Hill

Making a plan to get ex boyfriend back is never foremost on a girl’s mind just after the break up. There is bound to be plenty of tears. It is only normal for the girl will to feel sorry for herself and spend hours watching tear jerker movies and drown her sorrows in tubs of ice cream. At some point though, she will want him back.

A girl should always weigh up the reasons why she wants to get back with him. Often a woman does not want to be alone, if this is the only reason for wanting him back, and then think again. There must be more reason than this. You must really miss him as a person and a lover and not only for what he offers in terms of companionship.

The reason why the relationship did not work the first time around is another serious consideration. If it was something small, then it can be worked on. If it was because of possessiveness, jealousy, control or cheating, you should think twice. Most times, if a relationship did not work out the first time around, it is not going to work again. If the issues were small and could be worked on, then go for it, but if the issues are related to character traits that are not going to simply disappear then leave the relationship alone. Unless both partners are committed to working together to resolve bigger issues, it is not recommended that you return to an abusive relationship.

Often in a relationship a woman will put her best foot forward, but once she is secure in the relationship she will change somewhat. When you and your ex decide to make up, then it may be a good idea to look inwards and see what needs changing in order to make the romance work. Try to get yourself back to what you were like in the beginning.

You should try to be as happy and as positive as possible as this will pull people towards you. Negativity and grumpiness will not help you to get your ex lover back. There is a fine line between being positive and over the top fake, the latter will be discovered and will not result in what you were hoping for.

Men abhor tears, so leave them at home should you bump into him by chance or by accident. If you have set up to bump into him, then wear clothing that he used to like to see you wear. Be relaxed and friendly and share an old tale about the two of you during happier times. Just like avoiding crying, do not plead with him to take you back, as this looks desperate and is unappealing behavior.

Remind him subtly of any particular moments in your past that captivated both of you. This is bound to work even though he may have been the one to break off the relationship.

Never be too exuberant in attempting to re ignite the love affair and get ex boyfriend back. For a while after the break up, he will need some space. Let him have his space, while you do your introspection. If the relationship is meant to be, it will turn out fine. Wait a while and see if he does anything to start the ball rolling, before you do anything.
