There are different mattresses that are available today. Some of these mattresses are the Twin that is 39 x 75 inches or 99 x 190 cm. The X-Long Twin is slightly bigger having 39 x 80 inches in size or 99 x 203 cm. The Full is 54 x 75 inches or 137 x 190 in centimeters.
It is also available in sizes like Queen (60 x 80 inches or 153 x 203 cm.), King (76 x 80 inches or 198 x 203 cm.) and the California King (72 x 84 inches or 182 x 213 cm.). These sizes are very common for the rich people because of its high price. Some of them choose larger ones because they are able to customize it more.
The mattress varies in different sizes as well as it depends on the needs of the person. The Queen size is recommended for couples or partners. It will give them more room or space to move. Also, the Full is good but there would not be more space to move around. Full size is much suitable for single person.
The Queen is a good pick for taller persons. It is a good thing to remember that picking a big one gives them more freedom to customize their beds. Also, the size of the bed must depend on how tall the person is. A good example is the basketball players that most of their beds are customized. Though Queen is a big one, the Full Size bed is actually a good choice for tall persons.
The size is really an essential factor in choosing the mattress; however, there are other things to consider of course. The materials that the mattress is made of are one thing to consider. It is very important to consider this issue. People have different preferences; some requires a soft one while others want a harder one. One good example is people who have back disorders such as scoliosis. Doctors strongly recommend them to use a mattress that would not affect their backbone and some uses straight ones so that they could lay straighter and better. A good choice would be a Full size depending on the materials it is made of.
