Three Types Of Auto Tilt Umbrella

By David Maslow

These days you can enjoy three different types of automated tilt umbrella shade. The following provides a little guide to them.

Auto Tilt
Tilting the auto tilt umbrella is as simple as winding up the crank device on the aluminum part of the umbrella. While the user winds the crank, the umbrella opens and then rests in various positions and when the user comes to a stop in a resting position, there the umbrella will stay until a different angle is necessary. This style of automated tilt umbrella allows you to choose which resting place gives the adequate amount of protection from the sun’s rays. This winding motion to both open, close and tilt the umbrella is much simpler and easier on the body than performing the same actions by hand. One aspect of these auto tilt umbrellas that needs attention is that if the umbrellas are a lower grade of quality they in locking or winding they can be unsuccessful sometimes.

Collar Tilt
There is a collar on the neck of this type of umbrella. This neckband functions as the apparatus that turns the umbrella to different positions and it is used to give you whatever angle of shade you wish. Of course, this is done after you wind the crank apparatus to open the collar tilt umbrella. Many people enjoy the collar tilt umbrella more because the transitions to new positions with this type are more desirable. Other users may find that the operation of the colar tilt umbrella is not what they’d prefer and not the easiest way to enjoy the shade. Once the umbrella is properly attached to the base or to a patio table, users will not have to worry about this umbrella toppling.

Shade Dial
Optimum sun protection can be achieved by using this umbrella style. Users wind the crank apparatus to open the umbrella and then use the dial to move the umbrella to the desired position. This process of using the umbrella is easy to understand and perform for many users.

The look and use of each style of umbrella are pretty similar. The main difference is price and complexity, but all get the job done allow the user a better appreciation of their time spent outside.
