5 Things Cheating Husbands Wish Their Wives Knew About Them

By T Dub Jackson

Husbands, before they ever got lost in the world of cheating, have expectations over their wives. In fact, they love their wives so much that if they could just ask them to do some things for them, they would. But as restrained as most men are, cheating is definitely not an excuse always.

While cheating leaves a whopping gap between husband and wife, marriage can still continue to carry on the scars and cracks. This seemingly impossible setting can be realized if two hands will just meet and fix the wounds together. Wives can live to tell the tale of how serious and damaging the infidelity might have been but how rewarding it was after the storm has past.

The statistics of happy couples who outlived infidelity issues can give you facts about cheating and signs prior to cheating. A happily ever after marriage starts with wives foreknowledge on the common reasons why men cheat. This will serve as a precaution in order to prevent infidelity from happening in the future.

Here are five important things husbands wish their wives knew about their cheating.

1) “I’d rather feel unloved than disrespected.” Cheating husbands often feel disrespected either privately or publicly by their wives. They need to know their wives trust them. Love could either wane or fade in time but definitely not the feeling of inadequacy and disrespect.

2) It’s not about lack of attraction. Comparing your external manifestations with that of the other woman is tiresome. In fact, your husband thinks of her on a different level and may not even on the same level. As far as your husband is concerned, there is nothing to be compared of.

3) “I want you to know how much I love you.” Take note that he married you because he wants to spend the rest of his life with you. He might have turned his head around for some attractive girl probably because she looks tempting and exciting, but sooner or later he will look at you again. Men are not that confident in saying “I love you.” Their inability to express their affection by words can be irritating to most wives, but the truth is they love their wives dearly.

4) He hates the secrets and lies as much as you do but often feels as if he’s in too deep to stop things at this point. It could be that the other woman has threatened to go public with the affair and he’s trying to save you the embarrassment as well so he keeps on going with the other woman and telling you the same secrets and lies he doesn’t believe are convincing to begin with.

5) “Don’t blame yourself. It’s my fault.” Men share the emotional burden of infidelity. Some felt they’re like a trash in their children’s eyes and making up for their mistakes seems really difficult for now. Intellectually, they don’t want their wives blaming themselves. His mind might have probably gone blank but during this times, he needs you to remind him that there is always a way out of here. And that cheating could be stopped.

The good news doesn’t end there. Even if things have gone on too long and you’re now searching for ways to get your ex back there is hope for your relationship. Here’s what you need to do first:
