Like many World of Warcraft players, I’ve struggled to make gold in WoW. The WoW Secret Gold Guide by Hayden Hawke changed this for me and my characters. Since the guide was only recently released, it includes tips and tricks that work with the latest patch changes. Any WoW gold guide comes with it’s share of skepticism from players.

To begin with, each method for making gold in the WoW Secret Gold Guide is well within the Terms of Service for the game. There is absolutely nothing in this guide that would get Blizzard’s attention if you started doing it. Underhanded and shady tricks are often passed along by free and paid gold guide, many of which would get an account banned without a second thought. Is losing your entire WoW account worth it for some extra gold, even if it’s a few thousand extra? Not for me it isn’t. That’s a big reason I like this guide. Any of the tricks and tips within the 232 pages of the guide can be used over and over again without having to worry about losing my account.

For those that are wondering, this guide is not meant for only high-end players. Any player at any level can use the WoW Secret Gold Guide to start making gold Many guides require players to be level 50 or above before they can start making serious gold, but not this guide. Leveling up early on can easily be combined with some of the tips from the guide to get a nice flow of gold started.. Is a level 11 player going to rake in 600 gold an hour starting off? I don’t think so. On the other hand, a low level toon can start making enough gold that when they reach level 30 they can get a mount without going broke.

Finally, do the methods work and how easy are they to follow? The WoW Secret Gold Guide has tips and tricks that are not only easy to follow, but also work very well. Whereas other guides suggest having a gold making build, this guide and it’s tips do not make players make that choice. You can easily do both with a solid build. Each gold farming method in the guide is usually accompanied by a very clear map and in-game coordinates.

Auction House price guides for popular items as well as his gold farming tips are provided as well. Keeping with the herb example, if you’ve gathered 5 stacks of herbs and the guide says they should sell for around 50 gold each, then you know you’ve got about 250 gold sitting in your bag. Now if the AH has those stacks going for 30 gold each, then you’ve got a decision to make. You can either cash out and get the 150 gold OR you can follow some of the tricks Hayden mentions and make sure you get closer to the 50 gold per stack if not more. Trust me, once you learn to work the AH to your advantage, you’ll get an “AH HA” moment when it comes to making gold in WoW.

The information provided in the WoW Secret Gold Guide is some of the best I’ve found in any guide, paid or free. Some guides I’ve spent money on have given me a few new ways to farm gold, but not enough to justify what I spent on them. Using Hayden’s WoW Secret Gold guide, I’ve had newfound success in farming gold in Warcraft and I also have a better understanding on how to have some of my alternate characters ready to make gold from the start.
