How To Become Successful At Article Marketing

By Guest

If you are interested in article marketing, then be careful as there are many important components. If you ever need to troubleshoot an unprofitable campaign, then you really need to understand the process. You have to think about everything involved; from the article, resource or bio box, site your article is on, and finally to your landing page. You basically have three important areas which are the article, the bio box and finally your site or landing page. However for now we want to discuss how you can make the main content more effective.

Most of the articles you will find in the article directories are the same format. What you will find are writers saying things in the same exact way, probably 99% of the time. So if you want to be different and stand out, then you can write articles that offer a comparison or even a contrast. Another approach is to pick just one aspect of a topic, take a stand on it and then support your assertion in the article.

Unless you’re already an expert in the niche you’re writing about, you’re going to have to do some research, and how you go about this will largely determine how good your article is. The majority of article writers rely on other articles that have been published online for their research. As you might expect, this leads to thousands of articles that contain virtually identical information. We advocate going above and beyond the call of research duty. A university or public library or even a good bookstore can be good places to find material for your articles. This takes a little more work, but it ensures that you’ll have access to a wider variety of information.

If you publish articles online, there’s a good chance that at some point, someone has used it without permission. Swiped content is a particular problem if you regularly submit to article directories. You may be able to turn this annoying situation into a benefit. Do a search, using Copyscape or a similar tool, and look for unauthorized uses of your content; contact anyone who has done this. Don’t be angry or threatening, but talk to them in a reasonable manner. First of all, inform them that if they want to use your articles they must publish the resource box or a link; then tell them that you’ll be glad to supply them with articles consistently if they agree to this condition. In a reasonable manner, let them know that you’re prepared to file a DMCA take-down notice if they refuse to give you the proper credit.

As you have seen in this article, there is a lot you can do to make your content much more powerful. As long as you are willing to give your niche what they want, then they will continue to read what you write. Just commit to making everything you write of high quality because people are very tired of poor quality content.
