In the past, the only reason to learn Spanish was to get “Comida” and a “Cerveza” during a trip to Mexico or to show off while ordering food at a Mexican Restaurant, but that has changed drastically. Even if you believe you can rely on your memory to get you through, I recommend making a list of Spanish words that you have the most trouble remembering.

It is recommended that you take a professional Spanish course in order to learn correct grammar and pronunciation. A good way to memorize a new Spanish word or verb or a new phrase in Spanish is to use it and use it often.

Let’s say that you don’t speak the language but you would like your kid learn it, well, you can find a great variety of programs on how to learn to speak Spanish. But most programs tell you that it’s wise read every word out loud.

If your problem isn’t that you have a faulty memory – in Spain they would have understood you perfectly – it’s just that you’ve stumbled across one of the many linguistic variations in Spanish. Learning in this manner will build your confidence in speaking and allow you to quickly remember the phrases needed to have a useful conversation with someone.

The translator

Many of these people look at all of the free Spanish translation tools that are available online and think to themselves, “Why do I need to pay a professional when I can have it done automatically for free? It’s a never-ending battle for translators to educate their clients about the fact that translation is a difficult thing to do and that a professional translator cannot be replaced by on online tool. If you’re not a translator, it might be hard for you to understand what I mean by this, and maybe it is different for translators of other languages, but when Spanish translators first see something that has been translated, especially if the English and Spanish are together, we immediately begin to pick apart the translation.

Well, the single best way is to make local contact with people who you think might sometime in the future be in need of medical Spanish translation. So how can you as a translator take advantage of all the available opportunity in the medical Spanish translation industry? Well, believe it or not, one of the ways you can increase your business as a freelance Spanish translator is to provide free Spanish translation online.

The problem with free Spanish to English translation programs is that while they might do an OK job of translating a document word for word, this is where they end. However, by recognizing that this happens, it is a little easier to see that an “accurate” Spanish translation can be somewhat subjective.

Let’s resort to a bit of critical thinking if you are still having trouble taking in this concept that the language learning method used practically all over the globe doesn’t work to teach you a high degree of spoken fluency. If traditionally taught second language instruction is by design unable to teach you a high degree of spoken fluency through its boring process, just imagine going through the process when the instruction is given entirely in Spanish. But if what you want is spoken fluency and you do not care if you learn to read and write in the Spanish then formal grammar course may not be for you.
