Although, there are also ways to create, edit and publish through a printing service. Of course, the latter is often far more expensive as there are generally fees associated with each one produced. So, whether self publishing, dropping off at a printing service or submitting to a publisher, it is important to consider any fees associated with publication.

Whichever the case, it is extremely important to edit, proof and have second pair of eyes review the cover and text for any grammatical or spelling errors. So, to assure having the best copy possible, it is always best to have an editor review the material before and after finalizing the publication. After which, the individual need review these changes before self publishing, dropping off at a printing service or publishing house.

There are also other considerations which an individual must consider whether publishing a hard copy or online version of the publication. These are, deciding on whether to opt for a hard cover, paperback or both. In addition, it is important to choose a font and size for print that is striking as this is what tends to hold the readers attention. Whereas, when selecting a cover, it is generally best to choose one which best reflects the internal elements of the publication.

It is also important to consider the size, style and scope of the publication. For example, there are often preset templates which reflect either small, medium or large ones. In addition, it is important that the title be highlighted against any type of picturesque background on the cover.

When it comes to marketing, there are also a number of choices. One of the best and most recent is that of marketing through various social networking websites. Of course, this does not mean that one should not also advertise in local markets through various cable, satellite, radio and television providers.

Regardless, whether printing hard copy or publishing online, the more networking a writer can do, often the more sales the individual is going to see. So, it is often best to post information about the publication and release on as many social networking websites as possible. In doing so, writers can often gain a great deal more coverage through Likes and Shares than when only selling in local markets.

If not, then there may be no need for publishing houses or printing services in the future. In addition, the individual may also want to obtain the services of an editor to review the publication before submitting for approval. If not, it can often be easy to overlook grammatical, spelling and other errors. Whereas, when an editor can provide a review, most often the publication is going to be as close to perfect as possible.

After which, all that is left to do is publish and market the publications. When it comes to marketing, individuals also have a variety of choices. For example, the individual, after learning how to self publish a book can market the publication in local and online markets. Whereas, there are also activities and benefits at which the individual may be able to sell copies.
