Social Commentary
By Andy Smith
A Social commentary is the act of expressing an opinion, on the nature of society. This is most often done with the idea of implementing or promoting change by informing the general populace about a given problem and appealing to people’s sense of justice. Note that social commentary is not necessarily connected with the idea of instigating change or edifying the public through literature. It could also be a part of an everyday conversation. The best example of social commentary, that I know of is, The War of The Worlds by H.G.Wells. This book was speaking of the state of England and its Army. The other Book that I will Reference is The Quatrains of Nostradamus. Called a book of prophecy, but is in reality, only social commentary, Sort of a rise and fall type of book. The Quatrains of Nostradamus is the biggest book of deception that I know of. Many say that The Words of the Bible are social commentary, but in reality, they are not. Jesus spoke of many things happening in the present day world openly, but never as a commentary.
Even His remarks of the political system were void of any hidden message. Social Commentary’s are statements of social injustice, hidden in the words of poetry and novels. The phrase that Jesus used to indicate the condition of world events came from Luke 12:49, “I am come to send fire on the earth; and what will I, if it be already kindled?” This verse is not a social commentary but a statement of fact. This verse is indicating that religious differences were at a kindled state and that the fire, which is a broader devision of religious beliefs, were going to come. We see this in todays society between the believers in Islam and the Peoples of, Christianity and Israel. We can say this because of recent events around the world, with the hatred of Christians and especially Israel by the Islamic Union. Even when the Apostle Paul rebuking Peter for removing himself from the gentiles as the Jews entered, was not any type of Hidden message, but just pure fact. In John 18:36, we see that Jesus knew of the state of the world but had not come to interfere with the short term but rather to make a difference in the long term, of humanity from birth to death.
What’s this? “Judge not, lest ye be judged.” Clearly that verse does not apply to your situation. You would never even think of judging someone! You’re just not that way! What you do is discern… recognize… assess. There’s a big difference. And on the rare occasions that you do criticize someone, well, it’s for their own good, after all. It’s designed to help them straighten out and live a better life so maybe they can get to Heaven too, if they change their ways and work hard enough. There are individuals who will obsessively search until they find absolute truth, or at least what they perceive absolute truth to be. Too exhausting! Who has time for that? You know how busy you are with the things that really matter to you. Besides, why search for so-called absolute truth, when there is no such thing and everybody knows it? Everything about life is relative. And most people will tell you that it doesn’t even matter exactly what you believe in, so long as you’re sincere about it. Every person has his own opinions about things. That’s why you just do the best you can and it will all work out. No big deal. And there’s certainly no reason to waste your life searching for something that doesn’t even exist, when there are better ways to spend your time. Besides, who’s to say what the absolute truth is? Like about God, for instance. Will anybody ever really know the absolute truth about Him? He certainly isn’t making any personal appearances or calling you on the phone to answer your questions. It all amounts to your best guess, based on what you see and hear.
The Bullish abandoned baby set is another indicator of down trends as part of the forex commentary. You will see a long candlestick which is then followed by a Doji. On the 3rd day it turns to green with some movement into the red part. When you are looking at the price it should close on the top half of the body. This signifies a possible reversal at the top.
During the up trends, you will find that there is a three inside down top reversal. Here the body of the candlestick is completely engulfed by the preceding candle. Finally you close on black. The movements are not always structured but they give you a sense of the types of expectations that you can reasonably have as you operate within the sector.
A god that matches your criteria perfectly… what more could anyone want? Perhaps you favor a god who loves everybody and never gets angry. Or maybe a god who realizes that you’re doing the best you can and doesn’t expect anything more from you. No doubt you want a god who knows you’re a good person despite your minor imperfections. Or maybe an ultra-forgiving god who would never send anyone to a place called hell… well, with the exception of maybe murderers and fornicators and people that never go to church even on Christmas and Easter. Or how about a god who will smite your enemies while prospering you with every materialistic blessing that you can imagine? You might even prefer a cruel, unfair, uncaring god, so you can have the perfect excuse for why your life is going down the toilet, since it’s obviously no fault of your own. The encouraging part is that, with a little hunting, you can always find a book or magazine that will reinforce your already settled on beliefs. And with all the TV preachers and church pastors that are out there, it won’t be difficult to locate one that agrees with you about everything, caters to your whims, and pretty much always tells you exactly what you want to hear. Even the Bible itself contains passages that will back you up, if you don’t mind taking them totally out of context. So basically, the trickiest part of this whole procedure is establishing an acceptable persona for your frankengod. Once you’ve determined what works for you, the rest is easy. Just start building… you’ll be surprised how quickly your new friend takes over your life, protecting you from anyone or anything that could disrupt the newfound serenity that resides behind the uncompromising shield of your blinders. Guaranteed, he’ll be the best friend you ever had… until he turns on you.
It takes lots of practice and dedication in order to be able to interpret this data correctly. The figures may not make sense at all to anyone that is not intimately involved with the various transactions. Nevertheless forex commentary will make things clearer.
