Felines are very different from dogs that tend to be overly emotionally expressive which is why dog owners have a hard time understanding cats. Cats work in a totally different way and their displays of hate and despair tend to be subtle. Many people fail to understand their cats because they are unable to read their emotions owing to its subtlety. Felines tend to be solitary animals, which means that trying to understand what they want or are trying to communicate can be difficult and only possible in some instances by a cat psychologist.

If you have noticed that your cat is behaving weird for some reason the best thing you can do is to call up a cat psychologist. A psychologist is a person who specializes in cat behavior and how they work emotionally. Many if not all cat psychologists say that many cats develop issues simply because they want attention and not to irritate their owners.

If you have observed your cat behaving strangely such as attacking your furniture, or attacking you it is not because they hate you. It is because they are having issues which you are not able to fully understand and this is why a cat psychologist should be brought in.

Now if you have recently noticed your cat behaving strangely with sudden bouts of aggressiveness or timid behavior despite them being physically healthy you should consult with a psychologist about it. In most cases cats are exhibiting this behavior to get some attention from their owners.

Many times cats are exhibiting this type of behavior to tell their owner something which they fail to see. Over time if an owner ignores their cat the cat can become increasingly aggressive and do all sorts of things to get their attention. Probably this is one reason why many cat psychologists will tell cat owners to give their pets time and try to observe their subtle emotional responses in order to fully understand them.

Cats make excellent pets and despite them being somewhat aloof they tend to be independent in terms of keeping themselves clean, letting you know that they are hungry and also protecting their own kittens. However, when things go wrong for some reason it is always a good idea to take your cat to an expert.

In instances where you are actually on the brink of getting rid of your cat you should first consult with a cat psychologist who will be able to help you and your cat.
