I Know How To Sell My House Fast Without An Agent Or Broker
By Leo Kingston
Hopefully, that title sounds somewhat bold, but it’s true. Nobody knows how to sell my home like I do because nobody knows my home like I do. It just so happens that I own quite a few homes, and some are rented to tenants and some are for sale. Occasionally I rent a particular house for a while and eventually sell it to the tenants. That way, they get to become homeowners and I get to invest in another property.
So, what good is it to know my residence better than anyone else? To tell you the truth, it’s actually the greatest benefit of all, because it means I can share with potential buyers in a way that nobody else can duplicate. Once upon a time I was a buyer myself, and that’s important to keep in mind. At this point I’m a home seller in the process of determining how to sell my home to another buyer.
Basically, all I really have to do is remember why I was attracted to the home in the first place, then use that information to attract new buyers. To do that, I have to step into the shoes of a visitor seeing my home for the first time. I have consider the buyer’s vantage point and make sure I am in a mindset to share my enthusiasm for my home, hopefully the same level of enthusiasm I enjoyed when I first saw it.
I make a list of features and enumerate why they are special to me, why each one of them makes living in my home so enjoyable. I make a point describe special features like kitchen drawer dividers and built-in laundry room drying racks. Those little things can make a real impact when you promote your home for sale. But first, you have to remember to point them out to your agent and to buyers touring your home as well. I’ve found that is the real secret to inspiring sales.
Of course there’s a difference between sales and sharing, so be sure to understand that I am talking about sharing in this article. Sharing what you know about your house with enthusiasm can be naturally effective, but a hard sales pitch may fail entirely. For the most part, buyers don’t want to be sold, they want to be shown, to be led to what they already want. Nobody can force the process; sharing leads to a sale naturally or it doesn’t. So, that’s what I know best about how to sell a house. In reality, I don’t sell, I share with enthusiasm. I encourage you to try this, too.
