Wenger: Arsenal Has To Trust Me In The Market Frenchman Says Will Not Let The Club Down

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has reiterated his capability to buy the very best players his club needs inside the summer transfer and has asked the Arsenal faithful to trust and show faith in him.

Wenger has already hinted to some changes at the Emirates with new players believed to be on the line to pen their signatures for Arsenal, reports of which come as music to the fans who have endured 5 years without seeing any silverware come home.

And as per the Wenger, the fans and also the entire club ought to trust that any player who comes towards Emirates will likely be top good quality and who will fit with club’s football philosophy.

Talking to Arsenal TV, Wenger said “They have to trust us. Historically we have done well on the transfer market,”

The gunners finished 3rd for the third successive season regarding championship winners Chelsea and previous champions Manchester United. Chelsea have particularly been strong from the transfer window, thanks to the Russian billions pumped in by Roman Abramovich, the club owner. Manchester United around the other hand have some blend of young blood from the likes of Nani and even Rooney, strengthened up by the rocky figures of veterans Ryan Giggs and Paul Scholes.

Several of Arsenal top players too have insisted the club has to go for top quality players if the club is to compete for any silverware the coming seasons. Notable voices in the dressing room include Andrey Arshavin who has for long expressed his discontent in Arsenal’s low activity in the transfer markets.

Arsenal has currently signed Marouane Chamakh for free from Bordeaux. Chamakh, a long standing target of Wenger is believed to have signed a extended term contract and is expected to cushion up Arsenal’s weak striking force.

It is not yet clear whether any players will be leaving the Emirates though rumors of German interest in Rosciky while Eduardo could be headed to Spain both having not lived up to expectations.
