How to Play a Better Golf Game with Better Golf Swing

By Darren Neil

If you’re currently not enjoying your golf game, chances are you feel that you have more potential than what you’re currently showing now. Nine out of ten golfers are not happy with their swing and always wish that they have a better golf swing! While you might not have the physical coordination and talent like the pros on tour have, you can still improve your golf swing; simply follow some of the simple but effective guidelines below.

Firstly, you have to be aware of how you are swinging your clubs now. Too many golfers tends to pull their club straight behind them and come down in the same angle that might prove to be too vertical. Instead, think of it as swinging the club in a half circle and make sure when you follow through, your club ends in the same half circle. Proper golf swing will give you the proper and desired results!

One easier way to think about this exercise is to compare where your golf club is when you’ve finish swinging, if you can see a considerably difference between the distance of your front swing than your back swing, then chances are you are not following through the circle in a proper manner. This can affect the speed and the distance of the ball tremendously. Another thing you can do is to picture how the desired swing looks like in your mind even before you play it, as your subconscious mind can sometimes pick it up and help give you a better golf swing.

Another thing you have to take care of to improve your game is your ball approach, when lining up for every shot, you want to make sure that the clubs you are using is determining your distance between you and the ball, and not you consciously deciding it. This will make sure that you can easily find the range for different clubs; with enough practice in the range you can start enjoying better game on the course.

Also remember that conscious effort to change the way you swing, no matter how unnatural you feel and against your own instinct. Learning the proper golf swing technique can have huge payoff at the end of the day.
